GOLD COAST KIWI FESTIVAL

Join us for a vibrant afternoon and evening at the very first Gold Coast Kiwi Festival! In tribute to Waitangi, we are bringing the heart of Aotearoa and the Pacific to Southport for a spectacular showcase of music, dance, and community.

Experience the mana, the rhythm, and the soul of New Zealand with an incredible lineup of free entertainment. Whether you’re a Kiwi far from home or just love Polynesian culture, this is an event you won’t want to miss!

  • Rik A Shay Kick off the afternoon with the “Human Jukebox,” Ricky J, and the talented Shay Simpson. This Kiwi duo brings 20 years of international experience, stunning harmonies, and a versatile setlist that will get the party started.
  • Te Puna Mataatahi (Kapa Haka) Witness a powerful performance by the youth of Keebra Park State High School. Led by Dean Harawira, this group recently made history as the first Australian school to take the Māori stage at ASB Polyfest. Watch them reconnect with their roots through moving Haka and Waiata.
  • Heilani Polynesian School of Arts Celebrate 20 years of Pacific culture with Heimana and Lelani Tahiata. Enjoy a vibrant journey through New Zealand, Hawaii, and Tahiti, featuring stunning costume changes and interactive audience participation!
  • Kiwi Groove End the night on a high note with Robbie Flay and his crew. Performing 100% live, Kiwi Groove will be bringing you the best of NZ Music, RnB, and Reggae. Get ready to sing along and dance the night away!

Bring your whānau, your friends, and your best singing voice. Let’s make the first Gold Coast Kiwi Festival a day to remember! Kia ora!
